Welcome to the South Carolina Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers Home Page.  The South Carolina Section of ASCE was established in 1934 as a part of ASCE National, Zone II, District 6 and serves the entire state of South Carolina as well as 3 counties in Georgia.  The Section is comprised of 5 branches:  Midlands Branch, Eastern Branch, Northwest Branch, Central Savannah River Valley Branch (CSRV) and the Grand Strand Branch.

2008 spring seminar

You are cordially invited to attend the ASCE SC Section 2008 Spring Seminar to be held on the campus of The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina. The all-day session will provide engineers with the opportunity to network with other professionals and gain technical knowledge through the 16 presentations offered. Six (6) Professional Development Hours (PDH) will be available.

We also welcome Mayor Joseph P. Riley, Jr.; Mayor of the City of Charleston will be giving the keynote presentation during the Lunch Awards Program.
