RE: ASCE Employer Recognition Award for Support of Younger Members

Dear President Crawford:

On behalf of the Committee of Younger Members (CYM), it is a distinct honor to recognize Keck & Wood, Inc. as a recipient of the 2009 ASCE Employer Recognition Award for Support of Younger Members.

The Employer Recognition Program was a result of the ASCE Strategic Plan which called for the establishment of a program to recognize and acknowledge employers who support Younger Member participation in ASCE activities. Younger Members are defined as ASCE members of age 35 and under. CYM has been given the responsibility of implementing the Employer Recognition Program.

Based on information supplied through the nomination form completed by Melanie Mobley, CYM feels that Keck & Wood, Inc. should be recognized for its encouragement and exemplary support of Younger Member involvement in ASCE activities. The enclosed Certificate of Recognition expresses ASCE's gratitude for Keck & Wood, Inc.’s continuing support of Younger Member activities. We recommend that this Certificate of Recognition be presented at an appropriate Section or Branch meeting. A list of all winners of the Employer Recognition Award will be published in ASCE News.

If you have any questions or concerns, I may be reached at douglas.d.knapp@usace.army.mil or (206) 764-3542.

Sincerely,

Douglas D. Knapp, P.E., M.ASCE
Chair, Committee on Younger Members
